Dear Parents,

We will continue with the same format each week. The stories and weekly words will change. It is important that students are familiar with the work being presented. Unique follows a pattern of work each month, as you have seen in the work your child brings home. If you would like any additional work please, email me and let me know.

Reading: Students will read weekly stories with assistance as needed, identify symbols, and answer comprehension questions. Students will complete corresponding worksheets using the stories and word lists provided. Students can practice CVC words and sight words for those who were sent lists.

Writing: Students were sent a variety of work. Some have writing packets that allow for practicing print and cursive. Some have packets to unscramble sentences, cut, copy, and paste packets. Others can practice writing sentences. A few students can practice writing simple paragraphs on a given topic.

Math: students were provided printed math packets and some were given hand written sheets. Students range from adding and subtracting without regrouping up to division. Please, allow students to use fingers, counters, number lines and multiplication charts as needed.

Social studies and Science:
