Recording.
1) Record the scene and listen to it as you read along
2) Listen to your lines, stop the recording, repeat your lines, etc... until you are memorized. This is the same process as we do in visually seeing/reading the lines, but listening to the lines is faster/easier for some. We are auditory learners long before we read and, so, for many this way of learning lines is better. If a student learns lyrics to songs easily by listening to them, then this method for learning lines usually works well
3)Record ONLY your cue lines (and/or the scene with all other lines except your lines) and leave a silence where you say your line.
Students can work together to make the recordings. It helps if the other lines are in the voices of people cast in those roles.
