Saturday and Sunday November 12-13: This will be tech weekend. You will get a scheduled slot to tech your piece. Length of your tech will depend on your piece.

Tuesday November 15th: DP festival/scene night performance of 12th grade Directing Labs
All Students will do wrap-up reflections on scene night and directing lab process.
All Students will begin unit on world theatre forms.
DECEMBER 2021
All Students: work on world theatre form introductory explorations
The Seagull performance after school for those doing this show.
Dec 17: All students submit their choice of world theatre form

Watch at least one live performance and make TEAM notes.
Read a play.
JANUARY 2022
All students:
Context research on your world theatre form.
Peer mentors for each other and for 12th graders (solos).

SUMMER 2022
HL STUDENTS: WRITE COLLABORATIVE PAPER DRAFT
HONORS STUDENTS: NO PAPER
All students: Watch at least three live productions and take TEAM notes on a few moments that impact you. The live productions can be video tapes of live productions, but they must be LIVE productions and you must see the production in one sitting (though you can go back and look at parts of the production again when making TEAM notes).
All students: Read at least three plays. Read each play in one sitting (this gives you a much better idea of how an audience experiences the play). You can read full-length or one-acts, please do not use musicals.
All students: JOURNAL on plays read and seen
