Academics

Chickering school strives to provide a complete academic, social and emotional learning experience for all children. Students participate in traditional content areas (math, reading, writing, science, social studies), interdisciplinary units of study as well as a comprehensive arts and wellness program (Art, Music, Instrumentation, Physical Education, Library, Research and Technology) and Foreign Language in Elementary School (FLES) in Spanish language and culture. Students also participate in social and emotional instruction via Responsive Classroom and Zones of Regulation.
