Scratch:

With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century. Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is provided free of charge.

Android Appinventor

Creating an App Inventor app begins in your browser, where you design how the app will look. Then, like fitting together puzzle pieces, you set your app's behavior. All the while, through a live connection between your computer and your phone, your app appears on your phone.App Inventor, and the MIT App Inventor service, are provided by MIT at the Center for Mobile Learning free of charge.

Lego Mindstorms Robotics

The Lego Mindstorms series of kits contain software and hardware to create customizable, programmable robots. They include a programmable brickcomputer that controls the system, a set of modular sensors and motors, and Lego parts from the Technics line to create the mechanical systems.

Java

Java is a computer programming language that is concurrent, class-based, object-oriented, and specifically designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible. It is intended to let application developers "write once, run anywhere", meaning that code that runs on one platform does not need to be recompiled to run on another.

Flash

Adobe Flash (formerly called "Macromedia Flash") is a multimedia and software platform used for authoring of vector graphics, animation, games and rich Internet applications (RIAs) that can be viewed, played and executed in Adobe Flash Player.
