For this classroom Final Project, you will be creating a group project. You will have the use of a few Sphero Robots to create a coded dance. Make sure each of you are doing the trial codes on your own computers so if someone is absent, you will have the code to still run.
View student samples here.
Your dance must include:
a change in lights
spinning in place
use of the LED for each Sphero
coordinated movements linearly
coordinated movements radially
a purposeful section of a song (at least 30 seconds)
As a group, code a program through the SPHERO EDU app to make the Sphero dance to your agreed upon song. You will want to have it move, a lot and a little, in different directions, change color, etc. to create this dance. You may want to try a few different dances to see which one turns out best.
BE SURE YOU LEARN HOW TO AIM THE SPHERO BEFORE STARTING.
Make sure you are using the SPHERO EDU app to code the dance and not using the Sphero app just to drive it.
When you are finished, use the Chromebook to videotape your successful run. Be sure to also include a screenshot or video of your code.
Go to Google Classroom, click on Robotics Project Topic and find the Final assignment. Link the videos (both the dance and the code) by selecting Add from Files (it should be in your downloads), be sure to add all groups members in the comment section and submit. I will grade each member based on that one submission.
