The EV3 LegoMindstorm has the functionality to make five different robots. For this project, we have already assembled the EV3RSTORM. For this project, you will utilize App Inventor 2 to make the robot complete a task. It is amazing how many science, technology, engineering and math concepts go into getting one to perform a small task. So, before you begin, you must start by revisiting App Inventor 2 and exploring the EV3 blocks.
You will NOT need your device until the Practice assignment.
First, go to Google Classroom, click on the Robotics Project Topic and find the Explore assignment. Once there, be sure to click on the EV3 quiz. This is a locked quiz and you will only be able to take it once. Please watch the videos (as many times as you need to) and answer the questions accordingly. Once your entire team has finished with the quiz, you may move onto the Practice assignment.
Next, log into ai2.appinventor.mit.edu and explore the program. Pay special attention to the EV3 components.
Reference the videos below if you need help connecting, troubleshooting or charging your device.
When you are finished, you may move on to the EV3 LegoMindstorm Practice page.
