  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees F.
  2. Remove tops from strawberries and cut into chunks. Add to food processor and rough chop.
  3. Add applesauce and puree until very smooth.
  4. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper and spread your fruit mixture evenly onto both of the sheets.
  5. Bake for about 4 hours or until fruit leather is no longer sticky.

PAINTED HEART WORRY STONES

What you will need:

- smooth stones

- acrylic paint (or use markers)

- paint brushes

- pencil

- fine point Sharpie

- craft varnish or sealer

Instructions:

  1. Wash and dry stones.
  2. This will ensure the paint will adhere well to the stones. They’ll dry quickly if you rub them with a towel.
  3. Paint heart.
  4. Using a pencil, draw a heart on your stone and fill it in with paint. Once it’s dry (use a hairdryer to speed up the drying process), outline the heart with black paint and a fine liner brush.
  5. Write your message.
  6. When it’s dry, turn the stone over and write a message on the back with a black Sharpie marker. You can write your message in pencil first or just go for it with the Sharpie.
  7. Varnish heart.
  8. Brush a coat of craft varnish or sealer over the heart and allow to dry. There’s no need to varnish the entire stone or the message on the back.
