In today’s society, it is imperative to establish a brand identity that allows the public to effortlessly identify an organization by design, color, and other visual elements.

The District Government’s visual personality can be described using three distinct characteristics: sleek, professional and bold. These characteristics serve as guideposts to everything we create and present to the public.

Remember: There is only one DDOT. Project or program logos should not be created without approval from the DDOT Public Information Division (PID).

PID’s priority is to ensure that the agency maintains a coherent and effective visual tone that makes all DDOT collateral immediately recognizable. For convenience, DDOT’s Brand Manager has created guidance and templates for most document types that should include the departmental and mayoral logos. Templates and logos are available on this site and should not be downloaded to your computer, as they may change without notice.

All DDOT staff, contractors, and representatives should apply the brand standards to all materials, without exception. To ensure consistency in application of the DDOT and EOM brands, the Public Information Division must approve all graphics, marketing collateral, and other materials before they are printed or distributed internally or publicly.
