2011-Present

In 2011, I started at Concord as a kindergarten teacher. After the first year, I was laid off for a year. When I was called back I returned as a 4th/5th grade split classroom teacher. I did that for a year, then was moved to fifth grade, which is where I have been since. I teach all subjects, except for science.

2008-2011

During my time at Bean I was a literacy coach in kindergarten and first grade. I worked part-time, giving assessments, teaching writing, and working with students in small groups.

2007-2008

In 2007, I began my student teaching internship at Bean Elementary in the second grade. This was a 13 week program I completed through Spring Arbor University. After my 13 week commitment, I was then placed at Parma Elementary, where I completed 10 weeks in a Young 5's classroom to fulfill my ZA Endorsement through Spring Arbor University.
