All About Me

Hi! My name is Abby Arbuckle. My husband and I have been married for 12 years and we have a son, Sam who is 6 and in Kindergarten this year. We do many things as a family, but our favorite is traveling through the Upper Peninsula and camping in different campgrounds each year. In addition, we also enjoy spending time kayaking. It has become our Sunday tradition, weather permitting.

I wasn't someone who grew up knowing what they wanted to be, it took me awhile to figure it out. My time at Michigan State University as a freshman, allowed me to find my passion and realize I wanted to be a teacher. Even though my journey changed and I had to get my degree elsewhere, I will forever be grateful for the years spent at MSU, and how I truly figured out who I am.

There are so many things that define a person, and who they are. I am so much more than an educator. I am a wife, mother, avid reader, scrap booker, and love all things Disney!
