Agenda Information
It is your responsibility to check this page DAILY to make sure that you are prepared for class and kept up to date. I will do my absolute best to mention everything in class. CANVAS is NOT the agenda. CANVAS will serve as a place to turn in digital assignments.
Notes will NOT be posted as I write them on the board daily. If you are absent see the topic covered and ask someone for the notes or see me the next day( part of your daily responsibility) You are responsible for all material covered even in absence. If you have questions of course let me know. Also most of the notes( other than some problems) come from the textbook so just look there to make up the content missed.
How to help!: If a link does not work, goes to the wrong page or is simply not there, send me an email!! Thanks . Ms. Lewis

HW- I will be out of class Thursday. I will be asking you to do textbook problems. There are some books in the classroom but not enough for everyone to have their own. Of course you can share them in the classroom but if you want to have your own, bring your textbook from home.
May 2- Ms. Lewis out
While I am out of class complete the following. It would be best to work with a partner to go through the activities. Circuits is really a puzzle, once you know the rules you can do any problem I give you! Help each other out!
Fill out THIS form
Watch this video on power and add to your notes. These formulas are important! Once finished
take out these practice problems from Monday's class and do parts e&f for problems 1-3 using the equations given in the video
Here is the answer key to check your work
Get a textbook( there is enough for you to share with your partner). Some problems ask for the equivalent resistance and current in the circuit, they are just asking you to solve for Rtotal and Itotal. Pages 736- 744 recaps what we have done in class and gives sample problems to look at. Complete the following problems and make sure to show your work
Page 710 # 1&4
page 739 # 2, 4,5,6
page 744 # 3,4
page 748 # 2
Page 755 #23 & 24, 32
When finished upload your work here. This should be finished by the end of class!
Next class we will start discussing combination circuits( how to find Rtotal, Itotal and the current & voltage for each resistor) . To get a head start, read pages 748-750 to see the style of problems and the steps to solving. Especially view problem 20D on page 749. I would add this to your notes and work through the problem!
HW- make sure to complete 1-4 above. When I get back to class Monday, my expectation is that you have completed this and are ready to move onto combination circuits. If you are absent Thursday you still need to look at what is covered today to make sure you are ready for Monday.
