What you need to have done this week

Get a bound composition notebook to use for APES( by the weekend)
Make sure you can log into your college board account ( we will log in during class this week)
Use your PERSONAL email account so you can get information after you graduate. You can easily change this in your account settings
Read the APES Syllabus and Safety Contract and then complete THIS assignment
Look through our CANVAS page as well as this page and jot down any questions you may have
August 30
On your own- Write in your notebook: "What is nature?". Followed by group and class discussion.
Read THESE descriptions of different worldviews. Don’t judge them, just try to understand. In your notebook write for each of the worldviews (domination, stewardship, eco-centrism, bio-centrism, animal rights, eco-feminism) Each group will summarize ONE of the worldviews for the class (I will assign you one after you read all of them)

September 1

Explain what you think the term Environmental Racism means? What do you think about it?

I will not be in class today. While I am out do the following during the class period
Go to AP Classroom and watch the two videos I have assigned on the nitrogen cycle. Add any information to your notes
On a separate sheet of paper create a nitrogen cycle game board using THESE instructions. Since you have a watched the videos/read the book you should be able to spot a good diagram!
HW- the above two assignments should be completed during the 90 minute period during school hours the rest is hw
