1. In my first Oral Evaluation, I thought that it was a big step up from the speaking of Spanish I did last year. Last year, I would have a very hard time speaking without having the entire script written in front of me. But here, I did not have sentences in front of me and I was still able to form complete sentences and pronoun words correctly. I did think that I had a lot of pauses and uncertainty when I was speaking, but I do think that I learned a lot more about forming sentences while I was in the middle of talking.
2. In my second Oral Evaluation I think that I was a lot more confident in knowing what I was going to say next. I did a have few pauses, but there were much fewer than my first Oral Evaluation. I think that my sentences were also more detailed and longer than the first time. I remember planning out what I was going to say to each question without using complete sentences much better because I was more prepared this time. I think that I improved a lot in my sentence forming and speaking this time.
3. In my third Oral Evaluation I think that at the beginning of the evaluation I was really struggling on putting together sentences, but after about 20 seconds I started to speak better. I did elaborate more than a basic sentence this time and I think that was a improvement from last time. I did not use as many transitions as I could have and I will improve my putting more transitions on my paper to then use during my evaluation.
4. On the project of my family I think I did a good job explaining the relationships between my family members. I think that I gave extra details that helped my project be much more successful and more enjoyable to listen to. I did not just use simple words to explain where my family members were. I used more advanced words to explain the relationships. I spoke clearly and better than any of my oral evaluations. I think this is because I was able to read from a script while I recorded my project.
5. I think I did a good job comparing and contrasting the US. I could have added a few more points, but I did speak clearer than my past evaluations. I wrote down good notes before the evaluation, which is someone that I had struggled with before. I had very few pauses in this evaluation and was continuously able to come up with new ideas to say. All of my verb forms were correct in this evaluation, although I usually do a good job with this.
6. I think that this was my best oral evaluation. I spoke clearly and used advanced words. I think that this is because I looked and the rubric and studied exactly what I would have to say for the evaluation. When we got time to write down notes, and we were allowed to write complete sentences, I was able to write down exactly what I wanted to say. I then said those exact words, plus a little more, in my evaluation.
