Privacy of Information Policy

 

Very simply, Cecala Career Consultants, LLC, does not share your contact information or the names of our clients with anyone. Period.

 

Our Code of Ethics as a certified Global Career Development Facilitator and National Career Development Association membership prohibits sharing client-specific information with others.

 

We do not sell client information


We will use client data internally to send occasional marketing emails to you.  Client contact information may occasionally (usually no more than once per month) be used by Cecala Career Consultants, LLC, to send you marketing or other information about the services of Cecala Career Consultants, LLC. You may opt out of such communications at any time. There are two ways to do so:

By "opting out" of marketing emails, you are not eliminating the chance of future emails related to any ongoing or current services you are purchasing (I.e. If you engage us for coaching, we will communicate via email related to that coaching session(s). However, you will not receive future marketing or "unsolicited" emails" from us.


Third-Party Services Used by Cecala Career Consultants, LLC

Cecala Career Consultants, LLC, uses third-party applications and software in its business, i.e. Intuit's QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, Google, PayPal, and Hubspot. In some cases, these vendors may have additional legal requirements for the security of your Personally Identifiable Information. We will make our best effort to always protect your information by securing our devices before walking away and maintaining, to the best of our ability, current best practices based on the cyber security industry given our size as a small business/sole proprietor. 


In accordance with Intuit QuickBooks policies, please refer to their Global Privacy Policy by clicking https://www.intuit.com/privacy/statement/ to learn how they are protecting the data stored in their application. 


In accordance with PayPal policies for the use of PayPal products and services including Venmo, credit card, or ACH payments, please refer to their applicable policies on the use and sharing of data when using their services. Client documents (like resumes, cover letters, etc) submitted to Cecala Career Consultants, LLC, as part of the coaching services you receive are stored in Microsoft, Inc.'s One Drive Cloud Storage Service. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Associated Fees Policy


Once you have booked an appointment with Cecala Career Consultants, LLC, it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. Changing appointment times with short notice disrupts our schedule and prevents others from receiving our services.

 

Missed Appointments:

Clients missing an appointment without prior notification are subject to a fee equaling 50% of the service charges for that appointment. No further services will be provided until the fee has been paid.

 

Cancellation/Reschedule Fee:

Out of respect for our staff and our other clients and to avoid a cancellation/rebooking fee of $25, we ask that you give us at least 1 business day's notice if you need to cancel an appointment. Additionally, at the third change in a single appointment regardless of the advanced notice provided, the rebooking fee will be applied. No further services will be provided until the fee has been paid.

 

Cancellation/Reschedule Process

You can cancel or reschedule an appointment by emailing us at pcecala@cecalacareer.com. A call or text to 862.210.9562 is appreciated, but an email is required, especially if we do not immediately respond to the call or text, to ensure we receive your notification.

 

Cancellations made via email to pcecala@cecalacareer.com more than 1 business day before an appointment will be processed without penalty twice. the third change will incur a $25 fee.

 

Please note, we will consider your reason before automatically assessing any penalty. For example, we WANT you to cancel with us for a last-minute job interview, unavoidable business appointment, or if you are truly sick or incapacitated. However, we expect you will make every effort to inform us as soon as possible of these circumstances.
