Squadron Commander

Their duties are as follows:

a. Commands and controls of the squadron, utilizing staff and subordinate leaders

b. Maintains corps cadet appearance, discipline, and training within the squadron

c. Assists the instructors in conducting leadership training

d. Assists the CC as required

e. Keeps the CD informed of squadron activities either verbally or through written

     reports as required

f. Trains potential replacement

g. Coordinates with SASI/ASI to ensure briefing to school administration on all

     articles for publication in the Daily Nonpareil, School Newspaper & Website news

     pages

h. Sets up and administers elements within each flight

i. Academics (Pi Structure)

j. Appoint academic representatives who excel in specific subjects to be available as

   needed/directed by the SASI/ASI to seek academic assistance

k. Provides tutoring sessions for cadets during Lynx Read/START or before/after

    school

l. Tracks progress on group academic goals

m. Reports results and cadet progress at weekly staff meetings

n. Devises strategies to raise Group academic averages

o. Physical Training (PT)

p. Develops physical conditioning workouts for all flights

q. Provides the PT routine by COB every Monday, in coordination with each other as

     well as the Cadet Deputy Commander

r. Provided to the Cyber Chief NLT 1200 Monday

s. Coordinates with Flight Commander on implementation of physical conditioning

    workouts

t. Motivates cadets during physical conditioning

u. Leads, manages, and plans exercises as well as facilitates documentation

     assessments in WINGS
