Our current Deputy Corps Commander is C/ Hanna Merit. Her duties are as follows:

a. Assumes command of the group in the absence of the Group CC

b. Assists the Group CC as directed

c. Coordinates Group staff actions

d. Presides over cadet boards as required

e. Develops master promotion board sheet

f. Ensures adequate rank supplies for promotions through Logistics

g. Establishes special action committees as required and monitors their progress

h. Keeps the Group CC informed of all activities related to his/her position

i. Establishes suspense deadlines and ensures follow-up

j. Oversees unit self/external assessment preparation

k. Writes the cadet of the month narrative

l. Trains potential replacement

m. Accomplishes additional duties as directed by the SASI/ASI
