Executive Officer

a. Develops unit mission briefing

b. Must have held the position of CC previously

c. Oversees all drill teams and is designated as the Drill Commander

             i. Supervises all drill teams

             ii. Provides exhibition/tandem teams for special events

             iii. If there are multiple XO’s, at least one XO must be at practice unless

                  excused by SASI/ASI

             iv. Ensure proper safety precautions during all drill team activities

             v. Organizes, motivates, and oversees training for all competitive

                 interscholastic drill teams and color guard teams

             vi. Maintains a schedule of all events with assigned drill teams

             vii. Monitors eligibility of all team members

d. Tracks requirements for earning ribbons

e. Ensures equipment is used properly and not damaged through carelessness, abuse,

or neglect

f. Confirms scheduled events and personnel

g. Trains potential replacement
