Registration 19-20

Current 8th, 9th, 10th, & 11th graders will begin the registration process for next school year in the upcoming weeks. SCHS is also hosting parent nights where families are welcome to learn more about the registration process. These events are helpful but not required. Students will register for courses during the school day.

January 31 Parent Night: 2019-2020 Parent Presentation: Advanced Placement & CCC&TI Courses

February 25th & 28th Parent Nights: 2019-2020 Parent Presentation: An Introduction to South Caldwell High School Class Options (both nights cover the same presentation, so it is not necessary to attend both)


2019-2020 CCC&TI Courses

Eligible students can register for college courses through CCC&TI. Some of these courses are offered on the SCHS campus, other courses require transportation to & from CCC&TI's campus. Students can choose between 2 pathways: college transfer & career/technical education. All interested students should complete this form to notify Mrs. Triplett.


2019-2020 CTE Internship Application

Current 10th & 11th grade students interested in taking an internship (information about internships is available in the curriculum guide) MUST register for an internship & complete the online application by March 29, 2019 to be considered. More information on CTE courses is available here.

Current 8th Grade Students & Families

Granite Falls Middle School & Hudson Middle School families are welcome to attend one of two parent presentations:

  • February 25th at 6pm in the SCHS Theatre
  • February 28th at 6pm in the SCHS Theatre

The presentations will be the same so it is not necessary to attend both.


Once families are aware of their SCHS class options, they will be able to register individually with a staff member on one of two nights:

  • Granite Falls Middle School registration: March 18th in the SCHS Freshman Academy
  • Hudson Middle School registration: March 19th in the SCHS Freshman Academy

Current 9th grade students watched THIS video in homeroom to learn about the core courses available as an 10th grader. THIS video discusses elective courses available to SCHS students.

Mrs. Denning will meet with each 9th grader individually to register for 10th grade classes. She will also discuss career & college goals. These meetings will be held between February 11 & March 1st.

Students eligible for CCC&TI courses should receive an eligibility letter mailed to their home address. Anyone with questions should contact Mrs. Triplett.

10th grade students will be called to the Media Center on March 5 to register for 11th grade courses. Any student unable to attend the registration sessions on March 5 are encouraged to email their counselor.

Students eligible for CCC&TI courses should receive an eligibility letter mailed to their home address. Anyone with questions should contact Mrs. Triplett.

Counselors will meet individually with all juniors to go over post-high school plans, 12th grade registration, & early graduation. These meetings will be held from February 1 to March 29. Students will be called down to the office but can also email their counselor to set up an appointment during lunch or after school.

Students eligible for CCC&TI courses should receive an eligibility letter mailed to their home address. Anyone with questions should contact Mrs. Triplett.
