All 2023 Year 13 students will be seen by the careers department during Term One to discuss future plans. If you don't know what you want to do, that's totally fine - that's what these meetings are for.
Our Careers and Transition Department provide comprehensive support for our Year 13 students including:
Individual interviews with a Careers Specialist
Presentations at assemblies from tertiary liaison staff
Lunchtime seminars which are self-selecting
Careers Expo
Individual course planning with tertiary input
Scholarship and Halls of Residence applications
Schoology: Year 13 Careers Group
Scholarship exams at the end of the year. These identify the top 2% or 3% of students in NZ
Automatic Scholarships from tertiary institutions: In order to attract the brightest and best, these are awarded to students with L2 and L3 with Excellence.
Scholarships that are applied for: More than 4,000 NZ-wide, according to specific criteria.
