Burnside High School has a long tradition of service and Leadership within the Senior students which in many cases, actually allow activities to run and things to happen. I am sure that over your time here, you would have benefitted from the work of some of our Senior students - even if it was just at the level of your Student Support Prefects who would have been present in your classes in Year 9 and 10.
We are looking for some good people and NOW is the time and opportunity for you to give back to the school and develop your leadership skills.

A reminder that the application forms for Head Prefects are available from your Divisional Head Deans. The timeline for the process this year is as follows:
Assembly of Year 12 students on Thursday 18 September to inform Year 12 of the positions of responsibility for the coming year.
Application forms will be available from Divisional Head Deans from Friday 19 September and are to be done in writing. A job description is included with this.
Applications for Head Prefects should be submitted by 3.00 pm Monday 13th October to Divisional Head Deans.
Staff and Student online voting for candidates will be available from Tuesday 14th October. This will close on Tuesday 21st October.
Meetings with Divisional Staff and Short-listing will take place on Friday 24th October . Students will be notified of the outcome by email that evening.
Interviews will be held in the Seminar Room on Friday 31st October (Seminar Room booked)
All short-listed candidates will be notified of results by phone.
