About the Band

The Capital High Band Program is a comprehensive music program that offers a variety of musical options for student endeavors and interests. Currently offered at Capital High are Symphonic Band, Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Music Theory (and AP), as well as a wide variety of Choirs and Orchestras.

The Capital Band is a place that student can express themselves musically to create beautiful works come to life in concert. The bands consistently impress audiences and judges in the valley and northwest with their performances. The band is also a place in which students belong to a community bigger then themselves and and learn to be committed and involved with the people around in the program.
