GIRLS TENNIS - 2022

YOU MUST FILL OUT THE FORM THAT IS LINKED HERE IN ORDER TO BE ADDED TO THE ROSTER, AND RECEIVE IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDLESS IF YOU WERE ON THE TEAM PREVIOUSLY - There will not be any meetings this year, other than the incoming freshman orientation on Wednesday, June 1st!

IMPORTANT! - I HAVE RECEIVED NOTIFICATION THAT OUR HOME COURTS WILL NOT BE READY IN TIME FOR OUR TRYOUTS/PRACTICES/MATCHES. THE ANTICIPATED COMPLETION DATE IS TBD, BUT THE HOPE IS THAT WE ARE ON OUR COURTS BY SEPTEMBER. ALL TRYOUTS AND PRACTICES WILL BE HELD AT CITY HALL, AND ALL MATCHES WILL BE AWAY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO, YOU MUST HAVE ALL FORMS, INCLUDING YOUR PHYSICAL COMPLETED AND UPLOADED TO FINAL FORMS TO BE ELIGIBLE, AND YOU MUST FILL OUT THE FORM THAT IS LINKED ABOVE TO BE ADDED TO THE CONTACT LIST. FURTHER, MORE DETAILED INFO WILL BE AVAILABLE TO YOU ONCE YOU COMPLETE THE FORM ABOVE, AS IT WILL BE POSTED UNDER THE TEAM CLASSROOM PAGE, WHICH YOU HAVE TO BE INVITED TO.

REMEMBER THAT ALL INFORMATION REGARDING CANCELLATIONS BECAUSE OF WEATHER WILL BE SENT THROUGH THE TEXT LINE AND POSTED ON THE CLASSROOM PAGE!

ALL FORMS MUST BE FILLED OUT AND UPLOADED TO FINAL FORMS ONLINE PRIOR TO ANYONE BEING ALLOWED TO TRYOUT! BE SURE TO LOGIN AND CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON FINAL FORMS, AND SELECT GIRLS TENNIS - THIS INFORMATION IS LOCATED UNDER THE ATHLETICS TAB ON THE SCHOOL WEBPAGE.

Summer 2022 Tryout Information for Girls Tennis:

The dates are set as listed below and will not change unless necessary because of inclement weather. Our new courts are scheduled to be completed prior to the start of our season, however, if they are not completed in time for tryouts, there may be modifications made to this schedule. Regardless of where we are for tryouts, we will still begin on Monday, August 1st!

All dates and changes will be displayed on the Girls Tennis Classroom page, which you will be added to once you complete the form linked at the top of this page. Please check it periodically throughout the summer for any pertinent announcements.

All online paperwork, (Physical, Permission to Treat, Drug/Alcohol Form, Concussion form) which can be found on the Athletic Department website within Final Forms, MUST be completed by July 28th, or you will be considered ineligible and unable to tryout!

We will begin on Monday, August 1st and the times will be posted in the Classroom page as the date approaches. In all likelihood, it will be in the morning.

You must be present during the week of tryouts if you are planning on participating on the team – No Exceptions!

Practice will begin upon the conclusion of tryouts, which could potentially last until Friday, August 5th, and you should plan on practicing every day we do not have a match scheduled except Saturday and Sunday.

Remember to bring plenty of water to the courts each day!

There is a potential for cuts to be made this season depending on the number/ability of the girls that tryout.

A schedule for this season is attached so that you can plan accordingly for matches that begin prior to the start of school. Dates can change frequently due to weather cancellations, so be flexible!

If an unforeseen circumstance arises that causes you to miss a practice/tryout be sure you contact us PRIOR TO the scheduled meeting time! Do not tell a friend to tell us - Tell us yourself via text or with a phone call!
