March 25th - Set up the first part of the antibiotic resistance lab that is posted on classroom. We will read these plates tomorrow or Wednesday. Plan on an exam over viruses and bacteria for Thursday/Friday of this week.

March 26th - Read the plates and complete the lab that is posted on classroom - This lab will be due submitted to me by noon tomorrow!

March 27th - Continue with notes over Chapter 20, sections 2 & 3. We will finish this chapter tomorrow, and your exam will be on Friday!

March 28th - Continue with and complete notes over Chapter 20, section 3. Your exam over Chapter 20 will be on Friday!

March 29th - TEST Chapter 20! We will begin chapter 21 on Monday!

April 3rd - Continue with notes over Chapter 21, section 2 & 3. Complete the section 21-1 review in the text, #1-3 on page 605.

April 4th - Continue with notes over Chapter 21, sections 3 & 4.

April 5th - Complete notes over Chapter 21, Section 4. Your exam will be on Thursday of next week, and we will begin the next unit on Tuesday.

April 8th - Complete the review material that is on Classroom in preparation for your exam on Thursday. This work will be due on Wednesday. We will begin the next unit tomorrow.

April 12th - Spring break - Classes resume on Tuesday, April 23rd.

April 23rd - Work on the Practice End of Course questions online in preparation for Monday and Tuesday's exams. Follow the link that is posted on Classroom under today's date.

April 24th - Continue working on the End of Course practice questions. We will go over the answers from the ones that were completed yesterday, and you should be working on the 2016 & 2017 examples from the site as well.

April 25th - Sub today - Work on the assigned pages that are posted on classroom. These pages will be due completed on Monday. Do not forget that your EOC exam is on Monday, for 7/8A and Tuesday, for 8B/9. You will report directly to my room after homeroom on your designated day. Charge your netbook and DO NOT BE LATE!

April 26th - Sub Today - Access the EOC practice problems that are on the classroom site, for 2016 and 2017. Complete these problems for Monday!

April 30th - EOC Exam in the morning for periods 8B/9. We will continue in class covering the diagrams of the Circulatory and Respiratory systems. Be sure that you are studying this material each night in preparation for a quest on Monday!

May 1st - Continue working through the systems diagrams - Practice the labeling for each system that we have gone over in class, and be sure to know the flow of blood throughout the heart and the body.

May 2nd - Continue looking over the systems diagrams. Prepare for your Quest over the ones that we have covered thus far on Monday!

May 3rd - Lab: Work on the reflex lab in class and complete to hand in on Monday! Utilize the following websites:

May 6th - Quest over the Circulatory / Respiratory and Digestive systems. We will begin dissecting the pig on Wednesday!

May 7th - Sub Today - Work on completing the nervous system webquest that is posted on classroom. This is introductory material covering the next unit of diagrams that we will be going over. It also correlates to the reflex lab that you did on Friday. This will be due on Wednesday before the beginning of your class period.

May 9th - Continue with the second portion of the pig dissection - Throat region. Remember that you are welcome to come in during any free period that you may have to review the pig on your own. If I am with a class, you may still come in, but I will not be able to assist you unless it is during an off-period.

May 10th - Continue with the third portion of the pig dissection - Thoracic Cavity. Be sure to review all of the parts of the pig, and as I said, you are welcome to come in during off periods to review with your pig.

May 13th - Continue with the fourth portion of the pig dissection - Abdominal Cavity. Be sure to review all of the parts of the pig, and as I said, you are welcome to come in during off periods to review with your pig. Your practical will be on Wednesday of next week! May 14th - Continue with the fifth portion of the pig dissection - Reproductive region. Be sure to review all parts of the pig that we have covered, and utilize the links that I have posted here, and on Classroom!

May 15th - Continue with the final segments of the pig dissections. Your practical will be on Wednesday!

May 16th - Continue reviewing the physical pig, as well as the online resources that I have supplied you with. Be sure to continue studying each night leading up to this exam, and review the notes that we covered regarding each of the systems, leading up to the actual dissection.

May 17th - Final day to review the fetal pig with me. Be sure to ask questions in class and view the material that has been posted online!

May 20th - Sub Today - Complete the worksheets that I have posted on Classroom. These will help you prepare for the practical that is on Wednesday. You may also review the pig on your own if the sub allows you to do so.

May 21st - Continue working on the worksheets that were posted on Classroom. Be sure to study for tomorrow's practical, and send me an email if you have any questions.

May 22nd - Pig Exam Today! We will begin on Final exam review tomorrow.

May 1st - Continue with notes over Chapter 30, and begin reviewing the Digestive System.

May 2nd - Continue with the diagrams of the digestive system. Review your notes and materials that have been posted under the notes/resources tab online in preparation for a quiz on Friday. Begin working on the Digestion Webquest, which has been posted on Classroom and is due on Friday at noon!

May 3rd - Complete notes over the Digestive and Excretory systems. Continue working on your digestive system webquest. You will have your quiz over all of the notes we have covered thus far on Friday, which is tomorrow!

May 4th - Quiz over the notes covering the introductory information as well as the digestive and excretory systems. We will begin notes over Chapter 31 as well, which is the Nervous system.

May 7th - Continue with notes/discussion over the Nervous system. Plan on a quiz over the nervous system diagrams on Thursday of this week!

May 9th - Go over material regarding the nervous system and complete the following pages in your text to help prepare for tomorrow's quiz: Page 900, #1-4; Page 904, #1-2; Page 908, #1-3. Also review the notes/diagrams that we went over in class that are posted on classroom.



May 10th - Quiz over the Nervous System. Begin notes over Chapter 33, section 1.

May 11th - Continue with notes over the circulatory and respiratory system. We will begin the pig dissection on Monday, and you will have a quiz over the material we have covered regarding the two systems on Tuesday.


May 15th - Quiz over the Circulatory/Respiratory systems.


May 17th - Sub Today - Complete the assignment that is listed on Classroom. This assignment will be due on Monday by noon. Your Pig Practical will be on Thursday! Remember to come in as needed to study!
