If you are planning on trying out for the Boys tennis team for the Spring of 2022, and are not already enrolled in the Google Classroom Site for tennis, you must fill out the form that is linked below. All information will be distributed through the Classroom site, and if you are not enrolled, you will not be able to tryout or play this Spring. All of our outdoor practices will be held at the Brecksville city hall courts, and all of our matches will be held away, due to our court situation.

IF THIS MATERIAL IS NOT COMPLETED BY NOON ON THE 4TH, YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TRYOUT OR PARTICIPATE THIS SEASON! DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO GET IT DONE!

Format for tryouts:
• Tryouts will begin on Monday, March 7th when we begin at Center Court.
• All athletes are responsible for securing transportation to and from Center Court. The district does not provide any form of transportation, and all athletes are expected to be there on time.
• All athletes will be given the same opportunity to compete for the available varsity spots once court time begins at Peak and if cuts are necessary, they will be made by Thursday, March 17th.
• Depending on the weather in March, we may have to adjust the times/locations of our practices. I.e. If it is nice outside, we will go outside to practice
• I will only be keeping 7 members on the Varsity team this year, and will pull guys up from JV as needed throughout the season, depending on absences and difficulty of schedule.
Overall items of interest:
• Pay to play for this year’s season is $255.00.
• As of right now, each student will receive a set of warm-ups, which consists of a jacket and pants. These warm-ups are the property of the school, and will need to be returned at the end of the season. We will purchase uniforms this season, and I am in the process of making those arrangements.
• All athletes are expected to be at all conditioning/practices, and if the need arises to miss one, a coach must be notified ASAP.
• APPOINTMENTS SHOULD NOT BE SCHEDULED DURING A PLANNED PRACTICE OR ON THE DATE OF A MATCH.
• The match/practice/conditioning schedule is available on my school website located under Reynolds at the BBHHS Portal Page.
• All athletes must fill out ALL paperwork prior to March 4th at noon! This includes getting a physical by that date. All paperwork is linked on my website and is to be completed online through Final Forms.
• Our season progresses through May and often times the weather is non-cooperative. As a general rule, as long as it is not snowing or raining, and the courts are dry, regardless of temperature, we will have a match or practice outside.
