Stanford Achievement Test Series, Tenth Edition
Guides teaching and learning toward high achievement standards.
- Administration: Untimed with flexible guidelines.
- Ages / Grades: Thirteen Levels - Kindergarten - Grade 12, however, BDS will utilize this test:
- for 3rd grade mid-year promotions if student did not meet the 50th percentile in Spring on the MAP Reading test.
- for Summer Reading Camp for 3rd grade students.
- Students must meet the 45th percentile ranking to be eligible for Good cause promotion.
- Previously, was used during Spring '14 and '15 for K-2 Reading Comprehension.
- Norms: Scaled Scores, National and Local Percentile Ranks and Stanines, Grade Equivalents, and Normal Curve Equivalents Achievement/Ability Comparisons (AACs) with the Otis-Lennon School Ability Test®, Eighth Edition
- Forms: Complete and abbreviated M-C battery by grade and subject

Bay District Schools has recently received school board approval to move forward with MAP; which replaces Discovery Education and SAT 10 (K-2) Assessments. Please refer to the MAP page HERE.
We will continue to use SAT-10 as needed.
Frequently used SAT-10 documents :
Schools approved to administer SAT-10 will receive the following items, plus 1 "Directions for Administering" and the approved amount of student test booklets.

We will score these as soon as the assessments are returned to the Office of Assessment and Accountability.
