MRKG 2313 eCommerce Marketing:

The purpose of this course is to prepare the student to describe what E-Commerce is and how it is being used on the Internet for increasing efficiency in established marketing functions. Technology of e-marketing transforms many marketing strategies. It also has changed consumer behavior through a power shift from firms to mouse holders. This transformation results in new business models that add customer value, build customer relationships or increase company profitability.

MRKG 1391 Special Topics in Marketing - DIGITAL MARKETING ANALYTICS:

This class focuses on how appropriate data can be effectively used to plan and continually refine a company's digital presence to enhance marketing its products. Because the field is rapidly changing in terms of the tools available and the types of data that can be collected and analyzed by the various tools.

MRKG 1391 Special Topics in Marketing - SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING:

This class focuses on the use of social media for enhancing product recognition and appeal. It will include an analysis of distinctions between successful strategies in social media and in other types of advertising media, as well as choices of appropriate data to collect and analyze to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns. While careful attention will be paid to currently available tools and types of data, creativity in hypothesizing what could be useful with more data (as computing power increases) will also be addressed.

MRKG 1311 Principles of Marketing:

This class is an introduction to the marketing mix functions and processes. Includes Identification of consumer and organizational needs and explanation of environmental issues.

BUSG 1341 Small Business Financing:

In this course, students will learn about the financial structure of small businesses. Including small business financing, budgeting, record-keeping, taxation, insurance, and banking. Students will apply these concepts by engaging in discussion forums and analyzing case studies in addition to completing smaller assignments that break-down the individual concepts. Please note this class does require the use of basic algebraic skills and a financial calculator is required.

BUSG 1304 Financial Literacy:

Students will study the financial principles of managing personal financial affairs. The topics included are; budgeting, retirement, property ownership, savings, and investment planning. Interactive assignments will be completed in addition to case study analysis and collaborative discussion forums. Please note this class does require the use of basic algebraic skills and a financial calculator is required.
