My concentration explores the symbolic meanings of fish. I was inspired by surrealism, which helped me express a world from my imagination. Each piece in my collection contains a different cultural or religious meaning of fish, represented in surreal worlds.

Mariana Padilla | Drawing

My concentration focuses on the division between humans and nature. We are disconnected from nature. We make decisions that harm her. But what if nature took control of us? What if nature became a part of us, would we start caring for her?

Tatiana Lomeli | Drawing

My concentration is a series of illustrations for a book about Mexican Culture done in folk art style. The works emphasize the things I enjoy the most about my culture, like food, celebrations and traditions.

Denisse Garcia | Drawing

My collection portrays the “positive” and “negative” aspects of six different drugs, according to an addict’s point of view. I did two drawings per drug. One drawing represents the addict’s positive perceptions of the drug and the other one shows the negative consequences of addiction.

My concentration explores the connection between humans and our universe. I created surreal portraits of figures interacting with planets and stars. The pieces ask the question: "where exactly do we come from?"

Naomi Gonzalez | 2D Design

In my artworks I wanted to show how humans and nature are connected even though humans have slowly stopped caring. The human body parts are drawn in black and white to represent how some people’s interest in nature has started to fade away. The natural aspects are colorful and crying for attention.

Lissy Smits | 2D Design

For my concentration, I wanted to create a series of strange, surreal works. I chose to draw different types of fruits, combining them with parts of the body. This random topic intrigued me because it is original and playful.

Ana Paula Diaz | 2D Design

My concentration is about the social issues that teenagers face. As teenagers, we try to reach people’s expectations by making decisions that are not necessarily healthy for us and have future consequences. Throughout my artworks, I wanted to visually express the criticism, judgment and pressure we face as teenagers.

Blanca Campollo | 3D Design

I chose to focus on making strange combinations of humans with animals or animals with animals. My concentration focuses on interesting physical abilities of humans and animals and combining those abilities and body parts into one creature.

Erick Arias | 3D Design

My Concentration explores the correlation between humans and the most basic animal instincts. The series shows that although society regulates our instincts, we still have greed, ferocity, curiosity and other key animal instincts as part of our human nature.
