HONORS ART

Honors Art (Grade 11) Year Long Course

Prerequisite: One art course completed in 10th grade year. And/or teacher recommendation based on portfolio.

Students select one of the following Honors Art Courses based on your skills and interest:

*Honors 3D (Ceramics)

*Honors 2D (Drawing & Painting)

Honors art is a high level art course for students who are serious about studying Art. You will learn advanced design and technical skills that will prepare you to take AP Studio Art in 12th grade. You will be challenged to take risks and experiment with a variety of subject matter, media and techniques all while expressing your personal voice. As you explore ideas of interest to you, your artworks will become more independent and you will begin to develop your own personal style.
