AP Studio Art

AP Studio Art (Grades 11-12) Year Long Course

Prerequisite: Honors Art, or teacher recommendation based on portfolio.

Students select one of the following AP Art Courses based on your skills and interest:

*AP 3D Design

*AP 2D Design

*AP Drawing

The AP year is dedicated to the in depth exploration of an individual theme. You will choose the subject matter, media and style that reflects your personal voice as an artist. As you work, you will develop and expand on the conceptual, technical and problem-solving skills necessary to express your idea. You will choose to complete a 2D Design, 3D Design or Drawing Portfolio. Your finished portfolio will be evaluated by the College Board for possible college credit.
