The following exercises were developed by the GIS Manager/Instructor for use in a variety of academic courses. Even though they are tailored towards research projects that have been conducted in northwestern Pennsylvania, they can be adapted to any region of interest. It is important to complete them in order, as the knowledge and skill sets learned build from start to finish. In order to access the example datasets, the exercises must be completed in the Carr Hall GIS/mapping lab.
