Geospatial technologies, including geographic information systems (GIS), global positioning systems (GPS), and remote sensing and image processing, are critically important to understanding and addressing environmental problems. Recognizing this, the Environmental Science and Sustainability department has invested in the development of curricula and acquisition of technology to facilitate both teaching and research.
