Opportunities to apply knowledge and skill sets in the use of computer mapping technologies
ABOUT
Students in this particular "comp group" have one thing in common--geospatial technologies are the primary research tools needed to achieve project goals. This seminar provides students with an opportunity to explore issues in environmental research and problem-solving on a topic of their choice. Students are solely responsible for, with the help of the instructor and their peers, formulating a project objective, gathering relevant literature, collecting and analyzing supporting data, interpreting the results, evaluating limitations, and communicating their work in both written and oral form.
