1. Make a tabroom account here. Here is a handy guide to take you through the process. Please add at least one parent (for emails) to the account by choosing "Parent Notifications" from the menu bar on the right hand side of your home page. Do read the agreement on the right hand side before submitting your account. Once your account is made, request to link to our team as a competitor. That will create a notification to the coach for approval. Once your acct. is linked to our team, you will be able to log in and see the tournaments available for sign up. (click on your email address at the top of the screen to get to your home screen).
2. Tabroom maintains a tournament list as schools add their events to the calendar. These tournaments take place all over the U.S. and the world. We primarily attend tournaments sanctioned by the Massachusetts Speech and Debate League in our local area. As those tournaments open for registration, the coach will enable the sign up function in tabroom which will allow you to sign up for your event at your convenience (via your tabroom login).
*Find the tournament that you would like to attend, click the blue "add" icon to the right of the tournament name and complete the process as requested. If you are in a partnered event, both partners must have linked (to ABSD) accounts before you can sign up.
*The coach will then approve entries periodically during the sign up period. You should note the registration/drop deadlines and read the tournament invitation via tabroom.com.
3. If you need to "drop" or change your entry at any time, please email the coach at shennessey@abschools.org. You can not alter or delete your request to sign up independently.
4. For tournaments that you wish to attend independently (Nat. Circuit or out of state) please email the coach to sign up as these events will not be publicized or open for sign up online.
