WHAT ARE THE STUDENTS ACTUALLY DOING AT PROGRAM? LET'S TAKE A LOOK!

Academic Support TUESDAYS

In STEAM, we explore topics from science, technology, engineering, art, and math. In many cases, the hands-on activities delve into more than one subject. In our STEAM lessons, we deal with the WHY questions to deepen knowledge and interest in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

This Semester, The ‘Art’ in STEAM represents visual arts, social studies, history, physical arts, fine arts and music. Art is about using creativity and imagination to increase the development of STEM’s essential skills, as well as enhance flexibility, adaptability, productivity, responsibility and innovation - all required skills for a successful career in any field of study.

Mental/Physical HEALth WEdnesdays

On Mental Health Wednesday, students have the opportunity to understand the importance of mental health and how to handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices that will help boost to your mood, outlook, and mental well-being. Mental health includes our emotional, spiritual, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.

Academic Support-SCIENCE THURSDAYS

STEAM, the abbreviation for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Having STEAM as a style of learning – and teaching – allows students to experience science rather than simply study its concepts. Students gain a better understanding of how core concepts relate to each other in real life.
