Cue No. 37

Much like Cue No. 34: Cedric is Dead, this cue is completely unique musically to the scene it accompanies. This funeral hymn is quietly sung by choir as Dumbledore gives his speech. Strings join softly, and a low pedal tone in fifths joins verse two. The strings and choir crescendo together as a wide shot of the Great Hall moves upwards into the rafters, perhaps lamenting the end of childhood, and acknowledging the difficult journey to come.
