Pitch Perfect

Materials Needed:

10- balled up Socks or soft balls

1 - Small trash can, bucket, large trash can.


Object of game:

This is a lead up game to next weeks activity. Try your best to PITCH PERFECT!

  1. Stand: 5-10 feet away from Small trash can and try to throw the ball into the can either underhand or overhand (See video below for details)

  2. Continue to throw the balls into the can and try to make as many as you can.

  3. Count how many balls you made in out of ten.

  4. If you have a partner to play with now is the time to let them try their best out of ten throws from behind the line

  5. If you dont have a partner try again to complete as many throws as possible.

  6. At the end of each inning or turn count how many you got in and write it on your scorecard ( Shown Below). If you do not have a printer simply use a piece of paper.


How to Keep Score:

After each turn write down in turn #1 box the number of balls made into basket.

Continue to try and record for 6 turns.

At the end of the game add how many TOTAL points you scored!
