Sharon can be found on Twitter at @baileywicker where she tries valiantly to post original thoughts peppered with retweets from British comedians but it’s pretty much the opposite most days.

Angela Ramsay Manager, Programs and Community Engagement at the East Gwillimbury Public Library

Angela is a librarian at the East Gwillimbury Public Library, a two branch system that serves a growing population of over 24,000. As manager of programs and community outreach, Angela is responsible for implementing dynamic programs in the library and throughout the community. This year so far, Angela has targeted local schools, offering 3D printing workshops, headed to the GO station to catch those early-morning commuters, and is currently the project manager for Canada 150 celebrations. No two work days are the same at the public library! From leading staff to touring the local Apiary, Angela’s role at the library is exciting, busy, and impactful.

Danielle RobichaudDigital Archivist at the University of Waterloo Special Collections and Archives

Danielle is a Digital Archivist in Special Collections & Archives at the University of Waterloo Library where she is working to improve the discoverability of archival holdings and access to digitized primary resources. As a settler living and working on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishnawbe, and Haudenosaunee peoples, she is committed to getting uncomfortable about colonialism and white privilege while working to diversify the narratives surfaced online through outreach and content development. You can find Danielle on Twitter at @danielleganza championing the use of Wikipedia, the pragmatic technical management of digital initiatives, and hilariously apt GIFs.

Jane SchmidtLiaison Librarian at Ryerson University

Jane is a liaison librarian at Ryerson University where she has worked since 2003. It was her first full time job after getting her MLIS and she still can’t believe her luck. Most of her career has been focused on acquisitions and collection development. Hitting a mid-career slump after being in management for almost a decade has been a messy transition to finding a path to renewal. As such, Jane has been exploring ways she can have impact while working in the background. This includes exercising her academic freedom by expressing unpopular opinions on Twitter (@janeschmidt) and elsewhere, mentoring new librarians, and trying really, really hard to Do Research that has meaning in the wider world outside of the ivory tower.
