Program Structure

Lightning Talks – We’ve got 2 rounds, 11 talks total, 7 minutes each all focusing on overcoming professional obstacles.

Fast Chats – Since we are all here, why not have some productive and slightly structured 1-on-1 chats?

Real Talk Panel – Four early-ish career information professionals have 60 minutes to explain to us everything we need to know about overcoming obstacles. Easy enough, but then, lucky for the panelists, we (as the audience) get to pepper them with more questions! Expect to discuss things like having difficult conversations, navigating workplace politics, and forging a career path.

Facilitated Workshop – New-ish career librarians will lead us through a 60-min workshop exploring imposter syndrome. We’ve all experienced it, now let’s try to manage it together!
