Our Whole School Approach

Whole school Approach to Mental Health

At Gislingham Primary School we aspire to be a school where:

The importance of Mental Health is acknowledged and understood by all our stakeholders. It is a constant element in school improvement.

Adults and children talk regularly and openly about Mental Health with kindness, respect and thoughtfulness.

The high priority of Mental Health within the school means it is overtly visible with threads running through our ethos, curriculum and professional development.

Finally, ours is a school where both children and adults from the whole school community feel able to ask for support and we are able to offer guidance on accessing this either within the school or beyond.
