Numeracy skills are developed in all curriculum areas and tracked through the Numeracy Framework. However, some departments deliver the majority of these skills and we call these our ‘Numeracy Rich Curriculum Subjects’. At present, these identified subjects are:

• Maths
• Science
• Technology
• Geography

Identified teachers in these departments work together to plan resources to strengthen skills. We also use a vast range of data to make judgements on a student’s numeracy skills and decide if we need to arrange for additional support. Tutorial

We use weekly tutorial sessions to deliver core skills in numeracy to ensure a consistent approach in numeracy skills across the school.
