Literacy skills are developed in all curriculum areas and tracked through the Literacy Framework. However, some departments deliver the majority of these skills and we call these our ‘Literacy Rich Curriculum Subjects’. At present, these identified subjects are:

• English
• History
• RS

Identified teachers in these departments work together to plan resources to strengthen skills. We also use a vast range of data to make judgments on a student’s literacy skills and decide if we need to arrange for additional support.
