Subak
Subak, Soobak or Soo Bak-Gi is either a specific ancient Korean martial art, or a general ancient Sino-Korean term ("shoubo" in Chinese) for barehand martial arts. Historically this term may have specified the old Korean martial art of taekkyeon.
The Subak style was created in the Korean kingdom of Goguryeo. Due to Goguryeo being in constant conflict with China, the military of Goguryeo developed a martial art that was a mix of Chinese martial arts adapted for their own purposes. It was a style that utilizes hand strikes, kicks, jointlocks, and throws.
