2024 Summer Camp - Camp Cris Dobbins

June 8 through June 16 (this includes travel days)

Registration will open February 5, 2024


***IMPORTANT - Camp Cris Dobbins uses Camp Doc, WATCH FOR AN EMAIL FROM CAMP DOC. 

All medical information must be completed through Camp Doc and your BSA forms will need to be loaded into Camp Doc.  

Part C with a physical must be completed and vaccinations must be completed filled out with dates, do not write current or just the year. 

Physicals are required for Part C, schedule the appointment now, do not wait, everything must be completed by May 20, 2024. 

Payment Due Dates

Payment may be made via a Check or through Zelle like other activity fees

Summer Camp Fee: 1,075.00

250.00 Non-refundable Deposit - Required To Hold Your Scout's Spot

Balance Must Be Paid in Full with any additional fees like Merit Badge Fees and/or White Water Rafting by April 30, 2024.

*Should a scout need to cancel, please keep in mind that the troop incurs expenses associated with summer camp that are not refundable so families are responsible for the full amount of camp and it is recommended that the scout find an eligible scout to take his place in order to recover the funds associated with summer camp. 


Scouts MUST have attended a troop campout without a parent and be fiscally current with any fees owed to the troop.


Parents must be prepared to be without their scout and to have limited to no contact with their scout the week of camp, if parent's are not able to do this, you are not ready for your scout to attend summer camp.

PARENT ALERT:

There will not be internet/cell service at camp, nor do they have electrical outlets to charge electronics so please don't ask for your scout to call home or check in with you daily.

Scouts can use phones and electronics while traveling to and from camp, the bus will have WIFI.  However, phones will be collected and placed in a secured trunk for the duration of camp. 

Leaders will have limited access to WIFI so they can post "proof of life" pictures on our Facebook page and create a photo album for our parents.  

Should a scout be struggling, they will contact you.  No news is good news!

Start gathering everything your scout will need for summer camp now!  

Let your scout help with the packing so he knows what is in his trunk and practice using anything new; lights, sleeping bag, bug tent, bug spray, sunscreen.

If you scout has any dietary restrictions, please use this link and complete the form 30 days prior to our departure for camp. The form must be submitted the camp can plan, late forms will not be accepted by the camp.

ATVs

Must be at least 14 years of age & successfully complete the e-learning course prior to arrival

In place of one merit badge period.

Requires and additional release to completed.


Next Level Shooting Adventure

Must be 14 years of age

1 week long program

Scouts will forfeit working on merit badges to attend this program.
