Troop 38 - Sugar Land

Summer Camp 2023 at Camp Daniel Boone, North Carolina

We are a very active, all boy troop made up of about 80 Scouts of all ages and ranks and a large group of trained, dedicated leaders, located in New Territory in Sugar Land, Texas. 

The Troop offers a year-round Scouting program based on traditional Boy Scout activities, values, and methods aimed at delivering on the Promise of Scouting. Activities include the merit badge workshops, camping, hiking, plus much more. We also have a High Adventure Program for the older scouts, that takes them to newer and more challenging adventures.

We are proud and grateful to have Parkway United Methodist Church as our charter organization.

Whether you are crossing over from a Cub Scout Pack, transferring from another troop or new to scouting, you are welcome to visit our troop to see if we are a good fit for your Scout and your family.

New families are encouraged to contact us to schedule a visit or stop in on the second Monday of the month, please plan to arrive at 6:45pm so we can have a few minutes to meet you and your Scout before the meeting starts.

Meeting Information:

Our troop meetings are held on Monday's from 6:45PM to 8:00 PM at Parkway United Methodist Church, no meetings on holidays.

Committee Meetings are planned for the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM these may be virtual or at Parkway United Methodist Church. Parents are always welcome to attend Committee meetings.
