REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

All Entrants are strongly encouraged to pre-register for Kingdom and Regional Art/Sci Faires. The Pre-registration form can be found online at here.

All entries must fall between 500 CE and 1650 CE. Entries that date from earlier than 500 CE or later than 1650 CE will not be judged. Entries falsely labeled as falling between 500 CE and 1650 CE will be disqualified.

Entrants who have multiple entries, MUST complete a separate registration for each entry. This is to ensure proper and complete registration within our tracking system.

All entrants must provide their full SCA name at the time of registration. This is to aid our scribes with any scrolls or awards that will be administered. All judging forms are listed as anonymous entries and are identified by the Art/Sci ID # only

If Entrant is Pre-registered:

Upon Arriving at the pre-registration table, please provide your Art/Sci ID#. You will be given your folder.

In your folder you should receive:

· Either labels with your Art/Sci ID#, Division, Subdivision, Category and Entry’s Title OR this information should be typed onto each page. Please verify that all of your information is correct.

  • Pre-Registration Form
  • Populace Acclaim Form
  • 3 Judging forms at your selected level

If any changes are needed, please make them directly onto the registration form. Then return all forms back to the registrar.

The registrar will then provide you with your set up location, ENTRY #, corresponding cup (for the populace vote) and your populace form.

Your judging forms will be assigned to your judges directly. If you have a group or performance entry, please inquire as to the scheduled time of your judging.

Please then proceed to the location you have been assigned and set up your project. All projects must be ready for judging by the end of registration. Your entry should be nicely displayed as if it is a museum or window display. All items displayed should be relevant to the entry.

If Entrant is NOT Pre-registered:

Upon Arriving at the Registration table, please give the registrar the number of the entries and the level at which you are entering

You should receive:

  • Pre-Registration Form (you can add up to three entries on this page)
  • Populace Acclaim Form
  • 3 Judging forms at your selected level

Please take your forms and complete them at the adjoining tables. Once they are complete bring them back to the registers office to check in.

The registrar will then verify that all of your information is completed and provide you with your set up location, ENTRY #, corresponding cup (for the populace vote) and your populace form.

Your judging forms will be assigned to your judges directly. If you have a group or performance entry, please inquire as to the scheduled time of your judging.

Please then proceed to the location you have been assigned and set up your project. All projects must be ready for judging by the end of registration. Your entry should be nicely displayed as if it is a museum or window display. All items displayed should be relevant to the entry.

FOR ALL ENTRANTS:

You may choose to be present for your judging. You may wait near your entry until your judges arrive. Please do not block any other judges from other entries.

If you have been scheduled a judging time, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your judging time ready for your evaluation.

At the closing of the art/sci competition, please first clean up and remove your art/sci entry from the table. Then retrieve your art/sci folder which will include your judging forms and any merits awarded. This will NOT include any non-pariels or other acclaims as these will be announced in court.
