"Inapproprite" Words

Sometimes, with the best of intentions and no dirty mind, when you try to post on a wall, you get the weird "Your word contains inappropriate word(s). Please enter a new message." pop-up. With no curse word in sight, you're left scratch your head why and can only break down your message until you figure out the culprit.

I've listed of some weird words that I've had issues with (not an exhaustive list) along with some examples of it being used in very appropriate words. If you find yourself in this situation and don't/can't find a substitute, place a space somewhere in the "inappropriate" word (dashes will not work). You'll be able to post and it'll still be readable.

• 23x (I honestly have no idea why...)
• aids
• bitch
• crap (not prevented by filter on forum but considered "inappropriate" and may receive warning)
• glitch (litch is fine)
• nas! [nas is fine until you add the exclamation] e.g. bananas!
• pal: e.g. palace
• piss (pis is fine)
• sex: e.g. sexy
• tann: e.g. tanner

As for defending my point that TL has really illogical censorship, the degrading n word that refers to an African is an "appropriate" word and not censored. ;).

Please comment below if you've ran across head scratching moments of "inappropriate" words (beyond the obvious curse words and such).
