VISION STATEMENT
The City of Rockwall should continue to employ conscious design techniques that create attractive and unique, master planned communities, which complement the City’s existing residential housing stock, and lead to the creation of enduring value. In addition, the City should continue to support its existing neighborhoods for the purpose of ensuring the long-term health and prosperity of the community.

An implementation plan is the process of transitioning from the act of planning to application. To do this, the OURHometown Vision 2040 Comprehensive Plan used the goals and policies established in each section of the document to draft implementation strategies, which are the necessary steps to implementing the community's vision. Below is a list of the implementation strategies for this section. The timelines associated with these implementation strategies are intended to guide staff's progress, and create a system of accountability that will lead to measurable successes for the community.
