VISION STATEMENT
Through conscious design of the City’s natural and built environment, the City of Rockwall will strive to create a sense of place for it residents that highlight the principles of a hometown atmosphere. The resulting community will impart to residents and visitors a sense of security, convenience, efficiency, comfort and nostalgia.

An implementation plan is the process of transitioning from the act of planning to application. To do this, the OURHometown Vision 2040 Comprehensive Plan used the goals and policies established in each section of the document to draft implementation strategies, which are the necessary steps to implementing the community's vision. Below is a list of the implementation strategies for this section. The timelines associated with these implementation strategies are intended to guide staff's progress, and create a system of accountability that will lead to measurable successes for the community.
