Included are the dates of the public meetings, legal descriptions of the property and any pertinent documents relating to the annexations (e.g. location maps, property owner notification maps, etc.). A2021-006: THOMPSON TRACT ANNEXATION
The City of Rockwall City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 20, 2021 to consider the following annexation request. The public hearing will take place at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at Rockwall City Hall, 385 S. Goliad Street, Rockwall, Texas.
A2021-005: ANNEXATION OF TRACT 1-1 OF THE P. B. HARRISON SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 97
Hold a public hearing to discuss and consider a request by Pat Atkins on behalf of Betty Thompson for the approval of the annexation of 6.70-acre tract of land identified as Tract 1-1 of the P. B. Harrison Survey, Abstract No. 97, Rockwall County, Texas, situated within the City of Rockwall’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ), contiguous to the existing corporate limits of the City of Rockwall, addressed as 911 E. FM-552, and take any action necessary.
All interested parties are welcome to attend this meeting. Interested parties that wish to submit public comments via email may do so by sending the comments to Planning@rockwall.com at least 24-hours in advance of the meeting. A2021-004: STEVENSON TRACT ANNEXATION
The City of Rockwall City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 19, 2021 to consider the following annexation request. The public hearing will take place at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at Rockwall City Hall, 385 S. Goliad Street, Rockwall, Texas.
A2021-004: ANNEXATION OF TRACT 22 OF THE W. M. DALTON SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 72
Hold a public hearing to discuss and consider a request by Allen and Lisa Stevenson for the approval of the annexation of 20.83-acre tract of land identified as Tract 22 of the W. M. Dalton Survey, Abstract No. 72, Rockwall County, Texas, situated within the City of Rockwall’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ), contiguous to the existing corporate limits of the City of Rockwall, generally located on the southside of Clem Road east of the intersection of Clem Road and FM-1141, and take any action necessary.
Upon annexation, the City Council shall also consider zoning the subject property Planned Development District 91 (PD-91) for Single-Family 16 (SF-16) District land uses. All interested parties are welcome to attend these meetings. A2018-004: Hold a public hearing to discuss and consider a request by Pat Atkins on behalf of the owner C.D.T. Rockwall/2017 LLC. for the approval of annexation of a 14.995-acre tract of land identified as Tract 1-03 of the P. B. Harrison Survey, Abstract No. 97, Rockwall County, Texas, within the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) of the City of Rockwall, contiguous to the existing city limits, and more specifically described as follows:
BEING 14.955 acres of land situated in the P.B. Harrison Survey, Abstract No. 97, Rockwall County, Texas, and all of a called 15.00 acre tract of land described in a Warranty Deed to Steve L. Branch and wife Judy C. Branch, recorded in Volume 234, Page 527 of the Deed Records of Rockwall County, Texas (DRRCT), and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a 1/2" iron rod found for corner in the original Hays Road at the common west corner of said 15.00 acre tract and a tract of land described in a deed to Randy and Gwen Reed, recorded in Volume 260, Page 1 (DRRCT);

BEGINNING at a point in the southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1 of the Valk Rockwall Addition, (GPS Coordinates N7027433.81, E2592745.56) said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE N 21° 10’ 20” W along the east Right of Way of State Highway 205 (the existing City Limits line) a distance of 176.63 feet for a corner;
THENCE N 89° 05’ 59” E, a distance of 763.28 feet for a corner;
THENCE S 00° 57’ 31” E, a distance of 259.05 feet for a corner;
